The reason I love going to Mim's yoga classes is because they always seem to address exactly what I'm needing on a given day.
She somehow picks up on the vibe of the class and tailors the session in a way that meets the energy of the class. Mim is very sensitive to the fact that we all bring our individual stresses with us-- she gently encourages us to carve out this special space in our day and our lives where we focus on our yoga practice.

I was introduced to yoga by Mim many years ago. I had suffered chronic back pain and was visiting a chiropractor regularly. I love racquet sports but the twisting and pounding of tennis was exacerbating my back issues. Yoga was the answer. I began attending classes with Mim on a regular basis. Soon the radiating pain I had grown accustomed to began to disappear. The increased flexibility and strength was helpful for all my sports activities and I just feel better overall!
An unexpected benefit came recently. I traveled to Tanzania to climb Kilimanjaro. Towards the summit at about 17,500 ft. I started getting a headache from the altitude. Our guide suggested changing my breathing and demonstrated a long, slow exhale. This was something we did in yoga class and I could easily adjust my breathing pattern.
